Mosscap Tea, our partners, believe in meeting and learning the practices of the small farms they find, in order to determine if they meet the Tea Tavern's and the Mosscap tea required levels of quality. They were actually the ones to introduce the Tea Tavern to the areas in which "organic certified" may not be the pinnacle of healthfully grown supplies.
For example, organic farms are allowed to use chemicals like chlorine, which is not conducive to a "restorative" farm, compared to simply "certified organic" farm.
