Description

Autumn Light – A Unique Shu Pu-erh

A decidedly unique pu-erh experience that blossoms from a unique process. Though this shu pu-erh is made using the “wet piling” process, the fermentation period is deliberately stopped early to create a lighter, zestier pu-erh tea.

Origin & Craftsmanship

  • Single-origin from the Yunnan province, the only location from which pu-erh can be harvested
  • Handcrafted using a unique implementation of the wet piling process

Flavor Profile

  • Earthy & Nutty – Often described as a “forest floor” experience
  • Light with Zest – A lighter pu-erh with a whisper of citrus

Benefits for the Drinker

  • Known for its digestive benefits
  • May help to reduce cholesterol
  • A light version of pu-erh that still offers earthy comfort

Specialized Brewing Instructions

  • Water Temperature: 195–205°F (90–96°C)
  • Steep Time: 15–30 sec per infusion
  • Tea-to-Water Ratio: 4g per 100ml (Gong Fu style)
  • Best Brewed In: Gaiwan or small teapot for multiple steeps
